2025 SKI KOUNCIL Goes Italian

The Ski Kouncil of Illinois (SKI) is organizing a ski trip to the Val di Fassa region in Northern Italy. It’s

in the largest skiing district in the Italian Alps and part of the Dolomite Range, which is directly linked

with the Sella Ronda Ski Tour. The area has been named a UNESCO World Heritage site and is part

of the Dolomiti Superski which links 12 skiing areas together using the same pass.

Lodging will be at the Hotel Azola in the town of Canazei in the Val di Fassa. They are a small boutique

hotel, family run, with only 21 rooms. SKI has reserved 18 rooms with 16 rooms having been secured

by members with their deposit. This leaves only 2 rooms left for our group. These will be reserved on

a first come-first served basis. SKI plans to start a waiting list, if necessary. If there is overwhelming

interest, SKI may decide to contract rooms at a neighboring hotel.

Package includes:

7 nights of double occupancy at the Hotel Azola

7 breakfasts and 7 dinners at the Hotel

Air (estimated price is $1000) from O’Hare to Venice (Premium seating classifications may be

available.)

Bus transfer from/to Venice Airport and our hotel

Package does not include:

Lift tickets (approx. $425 for the week)

Ski guides

Air taxes, gratuities for drivers and ski guides.

Estimated package price is $2,500 USD.

Optional Post Trip – March 8-11 in Venice for $600

Trip includes:

3 nights lodging in Venice

3 breakfasts

Bus and water taxi transfers

Not included:

Dinners and gratuities
